# Privacy Policy — FuseUp GPS Camera: GeoTag
**Last updated: July 26, 2026**
FuseUp GPS Camera: GeoTag (“FuseUp”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a camera app that lets you capture photos and videos with a visible GPS, map, date, time, address, altitude, weather, and compass stamp.
## Information the app uses
### Camera and microphone
The app uses the camera to take photos and record videos. The microphone is used only when you choose to record video with audio. Your photo and video content is saved to your device; we do not upload it to a FuseUp server.
### Device location
The app uses your approximate or precise location while the app is open to create GPS stamps and location metadata for photos and videos. Depending on the options you select, a captured file can contain latitude, longitude, altitude, address, map information, date/time, and compass direction. This information may be visible to anyone with whom you share the resulting file.
### Photos and videos you select
If you choose a photo from your device to add a stamp, the app reads only the photo you select and, when available, its existing photo metadata. The app writes the edited result to your device’s media library.
## How location-related network requests work
To show map tiles, address details, and optional weather in a stamp, the app may send location-derived information to the relevant service:
– Map imagery is requested from OpenStreetMap or Esri, depending on your selected map style.
– Weather is requested from Open-Meteo when weather display is enabled.
– Address lookup uses the device/Android geocoding service.
These requests are made to provide the feature you choose. FuseUp does not operate a backend that receives or stores your capture location, photos, videos, or audio.
## Storage and sharing
Captured and edited media is stored in your device’s shared media library, in the album you choose in the app. The app does not sell personal information or use your location for advertising. We do not create user accounts or maintain a cloud copy of your media.
You control sharing: media leaves your device only when you use Android’s share controls or another app accesses media you have saved or shared.
## Advertising
The current version of FuseUp GPS Camera: GeoTag does not include advertising or an advertising SDK. If a future version adds advertising, we will update this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration before that version is released. Any future advertising implementation will provide the disclosures and choices required by applicable law and Google Play policy.
## Permissions
The app requests only the permissions needed for its visible features:
– **Camera** — capture photos and video.
– **Microphone** — record video audio when enabled.
– **Location** — add a requested GPS/map/address stamp and location metadata.
– **Photos and videos / media** — select a photo to stamp and save or show media created by the app.
You can revoke permissions at any time in Android Settings. Some features will not work without the related permission.
## Retention and deletion
FuseUp does not maintain a server-side account or copy of your media. You can delete created photos and videos from the app’s gallery or your device’s gallery. Deleting a file from your device removes the local copy under your control. Temporary processing files are deleted after processing when possible.
## Children
The app is not directed to children and is not designed to collect information from children.
## Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
